They are Wonderful!

I have always had a love for children, a passion for education, as well as a love for the Lord. Throughout my life, I have worked in daycares, in after-school programs, and with children of all ages. I taught second grade for one year then taught fifth grade for the past three and a half years. I have been volunteering in the children's ministry at Faith Heights Church for two and a half years, and it brings joy to my heart to be able to teach children about God. Preschool is such a fun age group and it truly is a blessing to have the opportunity to teach them who they are in Christ.

    Early Childhood Teacher

I graduated WeiNan Teacher University in 2008 and studied Music Education. In 2009, I came to America to study ESL and work at Angela Preschool. I taught dance and music. I worked at Four Gospel Church in Los Angeles, playing piano for the worship team and taught the Chinese Bible.

I moved to Grand Junction in 2012, and went to CMU to study Early Child Education where I received my Teacher Certificate. I also volunteer in the children’s ministry at Faith Heights church on Sunday’s. I love kids and being able to teach them about God is a blessing!

I am the mother of 3 grown sons and one beautiful granddaughter. I have had the joy of teaching preschoolers in the Children's ministry at Faith Heights Church for 20 years. 4 1/2 years ago I began working at Faith Friends preschool, first as a teacher's aide and then after completing the necessary courses, as an early childhood teacher. Teaching children about God's word is a privilege and watching them grow and thrive is a blessing!

I believe that children are our future and that each child has the potential to bring something unique and special to the world. I have been working with children for as long as I can remember, and feel that a teacher is a calling and a joy. I have my Bachelors in Education and am qualified as a Lead Teacher in Colorado. A few of my favorite things are: Jesus, my husband, culture, the color red, and caffeinated beverages.

Hi my name is Patricia Rottinghaus (Ms.Patty).

I moved to Fruita 2-1/2 years ago from Montrose, where I worked as Assistant Director /Teacher for Maslow academy for over nine years. I worked with children from six weeks to 12 years and have loved every minute of it! I love to watch children grow into independent amazing adults and to be all that God intends them to be!

I am currently a third year college student at CMU studying elementary education. I have been working with preschoolers for almost four years and absolutely love it. I believe it is incredibly important taking the initiative to teach the future as early as possible. Plus, at Faith Friends I get to teach little people the love of God which is a huge benefit all in itself.
